Architect

jchrisman@jonesarc.com

James came to Jones with experience working on large-scale urban projects and has seamlessly applied those skills to the smaller-scale, community-focused work that defines our firm. Central to his practice is bringing a personal design touch to projects of all sizes. From 1+ million SF developments to intimate neighborhood projects, James is committed to enhancing communities through creating great architecture for people.

A licensed architect, James is valued for his expertise in technical and concept design, problem-solving attitude, and collaborative mindset. He excels at both internal and external communication, thriving in the cooperative process of working with all team members and clients.

Originally from New Jersey, James is the third generation in a family of Architects. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest lifestyle. James spends his free time skiing, backpacking, attending stand-up comedy, biking, cooking for friends, and occasionally brewing his own beer, having assimilated seamlessly to life in the PNW.
